probably a stupid question, but what is the difference between EDI and EAI?
It appears to me that both are pretty much the same..

EAI - Enterperise Application Integration. Examples include XI, oracle fusion, websphere etc
EDI -Electronic Data Interchange and Application Link Enabling (ALE) are used to exchange business data between systems. one example of edi system is gentran. it is a message format in form of standards like EDIFACT, X12 etc
