Difference between CMS and CMC?

Can anyone help me in understanding the difference between Central Management Server and Central Management Console?

As I am new to Business Objects pls explain in detail with few examples.

Hi,

I am just giving overview about the difference between CMC and CMS.

CMC (Central Management Console)- Web based administrator tool ( Configuring Services, creation , authuntications,managing the foleders,users and user groups)

CMS (Central Management Service)- It Process the services based on the configuration given in the CMC.

If you want to know more information , you need to go throught the Archtecture of the BOE
