Difference between BW and EDW

Hi All,

I work on R/3 Security. Lately I'm in to EDW security.

So, I got one basic question to ask the experts here.

What is the difference between BW and EDW?

A bit of detailed explanation would be highly appreciated.

Mainly it's a version change.

BW: Business Information Warehouse version until 3.5 and new version is BI 7.0 - Business Intelligence.

When you go to RSA1 (BW Modeling), is called Administrator Workbench

When you go to RSA1 (BI Modeling) , is called EDW (Enterprize Datawerehouse).
