Hi,

After I extend my MINISAP license key for the first time, not able to add the developer access to bcuser.

I used the key 29671482393151224771 which is there in the minisap licensing procedure page.

Getting Invalid Key error. Any idea?

Saw various post on the forum but none helped me.

i have tried and didnt had any problem. did you copy paste the developer key?

Hi Raja,

Yes first time I copied and pasted.

But after that tried several times by entering the key manually but still the same problem.

Is there any specific screen/transaction I should do this to get the developer access.

no specific screen, if you try to develop a custom program (say a Yprogram from transaction SE38) and hit create, you would be prompted for developer key and you should be entering the key there.

no luck same error.

Thinking of reinstalling minisap.

That's really strange. Just to make sure are all requirements fullfilled:

1. The system's name is a valid Minisystem name like NSP

2. The current user is the BCUSER in client 000

3. The new license installation was really successfull (green state in transaction SLICENSE for the new license, initial temporary license can be in state red)

4. The installation was finished completely (there are some reports running at the end)

All the requirements you have listed down is fullfilled.

After some more investigation I noticed that I am able to create Web Dynpro components but when I try to create a class/interface I will again get the Object Access dialogbox and in this case the developer key is not accepted by the system.

FYI - I have installed "Sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 04s - Full ABAP Edition with Web Dynpro for ABAP" NW04s.

Is this version havign some restriction on which all functionality can be used ?

what did you name the class as

the class name has to start with Y or Z other wise the system will prompt for access key.

Hi Dirk,

i have the same problem. everything is green, and the key is not working. but what i saw is that the installationnr. is not DEMOSYSTEM it is initial. I think this is the reason, why the key does not work.

may you can give me now a hint how to get a working licensekey.
