Hi,

We currently have an SCP Fiori Launchpad with a custom shell plugin that listens for browser events and logs them to a custom service. We'd like to have this plugin working in an on-premise launchpad / SAP Gateway.
How can we achieve this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Depending on your on-premise release you might be able to just deploy your plugin to the abap repository and perform the necessary plugin configuration steps.

Please have a look at following blog: https://blogs.sap.com/2019/03/19/fiori-for-s4hana-developing-a-custom-fiori-launchpad-plugin/

Configuration steps: https://www.sap.com/documents/2019/03/0233f010-427d-0010-87a3-c30de2ffd8ff.html

Hi,

That means you're on a lower release than S/4HANA 1809. Did you try the instructions on page 10 in the document for lowers versions?

I solved it activating the plugin with a Target Mapping, using the instructions told here.

Thanks!

Great that you managed to solve the issue. The instructions you followed are the same ones mentioned in the document (page 10).
