Hi all,
I found that I have double load issue for my CUBE in BWQ because each record shows twice in the cube. Can someone tell me what it happened and how to resolve it? Thank you.
J.

Hi John,
In case it is a full load then delete any of the requests (if both the requests are same). RSA1 -> Infoprovider -> Cube -> Manage -> Select the request and click the "delete" button.
Bye

View the cube contents.See that u have also selected request ID and request number in the field selections for output.
Sort the viewed records in such a way that u can view some doubled up records adjacent to each other.
Note the request numbers from a pair of doubled up records.
Go to the manage screen of the ODS and view the requests tab. There scroll to the right and there will be a column which shows the request ID and also another column that shows the request number.
Check the request ID's noted earlier. Most probably full update got doubled.Choose and delete one of them.
cheers,

Hi all,
I deleted the data content of CUBE in the BWQ and it requested me to reactivate cube (created request #). But I know that it is bad to do that in the BWQ. Is there any way I can fix it and avoid to create request in BWQ?
Can I re-transport cube to BWQ so the cube will be activate by it? Thanks.
J.
HI John,
Yes to have a consistency in all the systems , do the changes in the dev and then transport the changes to Q.
But first of all I wud try find out y it deactivated.
Because by dropping the data it wud not ask u to reactivate , u must have done something else or check the transports for last cpl of days , see if anything has been done by the transports.
Cheers
I dont know what happened, It shd ask u to reactivate the cube when u drop the data.
As for removing the double records , check from when u r seeing this double records and check the requests which are identical and delete the one of them . take care to delte the requests .
I wud check from when the records are being doubled and check the requests which caused them and then remove the requesrts which are identical.
Cheers
Majeed
