DBCON entry does not exist for CCMS_DB2_

In SAP Collector Settings when I "Check Status" for "Alert Router" I get this message:

• "DBCON entry does not exist for CCMS_DB2_<sid>"

When I attempt to add CCMS_DB2_<sid> entry I get this message:

• Password invalid (choose another password)

My understanding is that for CCMS entries all we need to define are SSID,Collection Id, Schema, Database Name, Port Number & IP Address|Host

Why am I being prompted for a Password when I haven't specified a User Name?

I believe you have somewhat missed the question which I was asking so I will highlight:

So when I use the DBCON t-code and try to enter a connection for CCMS I'm prompted for a password. This is a change from the original functionality which did not require a User Name/Password for CCMS connections
