DB2 Restore using DB2 Control Center

Dear Experts,

I tried to test restore database using DB2 control center after getting the backup image also using DB2 Control Center. When performing the restore wizard, in the selection of backup image list phase, it can not list the backup image (the list is empty), so we can not proceed the process without select the backup image file.

The database restore was performed in the different box. We did not find any issue when doing the restore on the same box.

Please advise.

Hi Rudi,

Are you trying to perform a system copy using DB backup...

In this case you may go for a redirected restore. You can find the relevant options in control centre.
