Datasource Dump issue

Dear Experts,

I have added three standard fields to the standard LO  DataSource and  transported in  quality.
Now when i checked the fields  the added fields are available.

Before transport i have deleted Queues, RSA7 and SETUP for the application component.
Now when i go to RSA3 and try to check the extraction for one billing document, the datasource is throwing dump.
Can you please suggest what should be done to resolve this.

I was thinking to re-transport into quality.

This is the dump message  screenshot:

Many thanks

Did you clear the extraction queue and delta queue for application 13 ?

Also delete the setup table for the same application.

Also make sure that you collected the objects properly in dev.

After checking all this you can opt for re-transport.

AL

Hi AL,

Yes I did clear the Set up for application component 13, cleared the queues  entries for application 13   and also the rsa7 entries before transport.. Then I transported following the sequence you mentioned in my last post.

Even then I have faced with this dump today as i checked. I should mention  after I transported
i went to RSA6 and checked the fields which i added were visible. So i scheduled the setup filling so that i could check RSA3 today. But  I am messed up..

What should I do?
Should I clear all the entries you mentioned again and also delete the set up table again?

Regards!

Yes please do it once again also check in LBWE if that particular datasource is active or not ?

Check if all the requests transported successfully or not (Customizing and workbench request).

AL

Ok

I am going for all these checks after LBWE first.

But as per the message in the dump, its is telling there .

" Error occurred while transport for the object MC13VD0ITM_TAB "

I am giving you import queue screenshot of quality here:

Warning RC=4

thanks

Hi,

am unable to understand your issue where your facing.

Have you transported your ECC Dev data source changes to ECC qua?

if yes then what transport log says?

Actually at RSA3 at which ecc your checking ? ecc dev or ec qua?

if your transport logs are green then replicate your ec qua data source into bw qua.

later move bw dev data source to bw qua.

Later you can delete queues data at ECC qua.fill setup tables and run RSA3 at ECC Qua.

Thanks

hi Rama,

I am facing the issue in Quality Box as I made changes in Dev yesterday.

Have you transported your ECC Dev data source changes to ECC qua?

if yes then what transport log says?

Yes  I did, the transport log says it ended with warning rc=4

Actually at RSA3 at which ecc your checking ? ecc dev or ec qua?

I was checking in QUA RSA3Also for your information my Transport log is not green but yellow.

RC-4 is not an issue. But at RSA3 its giving as dump.

Again re import the same transport request and see it.

even its RC-4 then again collect extract structure and data source from ECC dev into new TR.

Release and import at ECC Qua.

Before transport at ECC Quality clear all Queues like SMQ1/SM13/LBWQ/RSA7.

don't delete records. just load all records into bw Qua.

Can you share your transport logs.

at ECC Qua, check your data source and added fields, extract str all are active or not.

Yahoooo!

and

Issue solved! Yes  re-transport i did . And the RSA3  is not giving any dump any more.

Now i am filling the  setup.

And i am preparing to send my generic datasource to quality from development. Is there any precaution Rama you would like to advise?

Thank you so much for your time and patience!

Just replicate ECC Qua data source to BW Qua.

Later you can transport BW Dev data source TR to BW Qua.

continue with rest of the data flow transports.

Hi,

Please go ahead and import again while taking care of all the steps mentioned by Anshu.

It seems the fields got added but some objects missed while importing, make sure Your TR contains all the necessary objects.

Thanks,

Vikrant

Hi Vikrant

thanks for coming forward. yes I am following the guidelines given by Anshu.

I must also tell you that i check if the TR is consistent or not,
but after running all checks it was showing consistent with no errors.
