Database Error while refreshing webi report

Hi,

I am getting following error while refreshing webi report. And also all my scheduled webi reports are getting failed because of same issue. What would be the reason for this error.

Same has been verified, there is no locks found on that user. And it's a background user. No one login with this userid.

Did you checked you can able to open and refresh the BEx query in RSRT/Analyzer  with the user.

Do this user have reporting role assigned in BW?

We are facing this issue only for Relational connection. And same user and password is used in OLAP connection and they are working fine.

We should go with the OLAP connection only when connecting to BEx query.

Relational connections are to connect DSO.

Sorry for my earlier post. Source of my relational connection is BW Infocube not bex query. My sincere apologies for wrong information.

As i told you earlier there is no issue upto last Saturday. Issue started form sunday onwards.

Issue resolved. IN CMC Adaptive processing server is not active. We have restarted the server, now it's working fine.

Hi All,

With the help of your posts, i have checked in IDT connections, when i click on test connection it is showing message "Test Failed". No password has changed since from long time, same has confirmed with my basis team. We are facing this issue from this 11th only, before that every thing is going fine. What would be the reason for this? Is there any some other place i need check, please let me know.

as your basis team to recerate the connection and then  try .

r u using SAP GUI for your IDT ?

What is your backend ?

What is universe/connection ? .Unv/.Unx/BICS

We are in BO 4.0 and it is .unx. Source for this universe is bw Bex query and it's a relation connection

As you are getting error 'IES10901' it is related to database connection issue.

check your universe connections to DB(ODBC connections).

Where i need to check ODBC Connections in IDT. Under Local projects or Repository resources. And how to check.

Hi,

While creating connections under local projects,there itself you can find edit option, using that option you can test your connection.

If at all it does not work,check the ODBC connection at control panel under system DSN.

The above process which i described is when your DB is SQL server.

Hi ,

Do you have IDT Access ???? if not then you cannot check it , you need to Check the connection for universe .
