Not sure exactly when this was added, but in the text editor within SAP/JAM's editor, there is now a Source Code button. This is exactly what I wanted. I will add one bit of advice. You need to design for mobile first. The SAP/JAM app disregards any CSS you try to apply. So design for that, then add custom CSS to modify your desktop experience.
