Currency Conversion Error: Server Error

Dear SAC Community,

I am currently facing an issue with currency conversion while attempting to convert USD to INR. Surprisingly, I encounter an error when converting to INR, whereas converting to EURO works without any problems. I have ensured that the target currency is correctly maintained. Could someone please assist me in resolving this issue?

The error message I receive is as follows: "Server Error: The currency conversion failed. Please provide missing rates for all needed rate types and categories in the rate table 'SAP_ALL_CURRENCY'."

I understand that this issue may seem basic to experienced individuals, but as a newcomer, I would greatly appreciate any help in gaining a better understanding of this matter.

Currency Conversion works like this

• You have one or more dimension in model with currency property. In your case you have sales Org and Entity. Any data against these members will be treated as local currency value (currency of the member)
• You have Accounts members like Gross margin, Price etc which have Rate Type property. Depending on Account type you either have closing or average types.
• You have rates maintained in the table with effective date and currency pairs which is used for conversion.
