Apologies if this is dumb question, I am new to crystal reports.
I am trying to reinstall Crystal reports version 10 back onto a users new machine. The setup.exe runs OK but when I enter the license key it says 'invalid product license key'. I have double checked the license key and I'm 100% certain i am entering it correctly.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Good Morning:
I have wasted my morning trying to find a place to register my copy of Crystal Reports 10. All old links, telephone numbers and apparently, even old Crystal registered accounts (we have other registered copies) no longer pertain or are available.
So my first question is simple: Where do I go to register my copy and get the registration key?
And now for the complicated question: While Crystal 10 was purchased and provided, we have a need to run Crystal 9. Can I use the same product registration for Crystal 10 to downgrade it to Crystal 9 and register THAT product.
Thanks in advance.
Hope to hear from someone soon.
Ralph

There are two possible numbers, registration and keycode. Make sure you are entering the correct number. Also, make sure it is for CR, not Crystal Reports or Crystal Server. If none of this helps, post to the BusinessObjects Enterprise Administration forum.

Hi Ludek
Thanks for you reply, I'm not sure what you mean by "make sure it is for CR, not Crystal Reports or Crystal Server". The install CD I have is "Crystal Report Enterprise V.10", does that sound correct? Also I'm pretty sure I'm using the key code and not the registration number. The Key code is a 19 digit key in the format XXXXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXXXX
Thanks
