Cross Statistics Targets - Range / Bin brackets?

Hi all -

Has anybody some insights to share regarding the intervals that are used for Cross Statistics Targets list? The list is displayed right after executing any classification / regression model.

This list has intervals that are embedded with brackets -as shown below:

[ -0.28454545;-0.25767677]

] -0.25767677; -0.23454555[

] -0.23454555; -0.21898990]

The usage of these brackets seems similar to those that are used in standard SAP ALV / LIS reporting. Does " ] ; [ " combination mean exclusion? If that the case, then, it contradicts the value displayed in Frequency column! (please check the attachment)

What's the logic behind [ ; ] or ] ; ] or ] ; [ interval types that are used in Cross Statistics Targets?

Any help would be appreciated.

The representation of the variable intervals in SAP Predictive Analytics follows this rule:

• For the lower boundary of the interval, [ means included whereas, ] means excluded.
• For the upper boundary of the interval, [ means excluded whereas, ] means included.

One can choose the dataset for the cross statistics: All / Estimation, Validation, and Test if any.

You seem to say that the Frequency value on your dataset is incorrect but I am not sure how you came to that conclusion.
