Create new date format

Has anybody created a new date format in SAP? We are on ECC 5.0 and our UK users are asking for their date to be formatted DD/MM/YYYY. The system currently has a DD.MM.YYYY, but that is not how they would like to see the date.

I see the domain "XUDATFM" has 11 date formats defined, in addition to possibly adding the format to this domain, what else would need to be done.

If this is a terrible idea, also please let me know.

Hi,

Please check the corresponding setting in the user master data. Transaction SU01 or SU3. Under tab "Defaults" you can set the 'Date Format'
