Create Connection to SQL Server on SAP Data Intelligence

Hi, I am trying to connect SAP Data Intelligence on Cloud to on premise SQL Server. Is there any prerequisite or something that need to be done? Like to Connect SAP Analytics Cloud to SQL Server need to configure SAP Analytics Cloud Agent and SAP Cloud Connector.

And Is there a reference or example to read data from sql server using SQL Server Consumer in SAP Data Intelligence Modeller?

We were able to connect to azure SQL server. Just have to setup the connection management parameters. Host name, port , login credentials for the SQL database.

There are no prerequisites to connect SAP Data Intelligence to Microsoft SQL Server over its port being reachable, Agus. As an example, I describe how to Leverage your Advanced Data Migration metadata with Data Hub 2.4.

Hi Frank, Thank you for your answer. So, as long as the SQL server is allow access (white list) from sap data intelligence we can connect? Cause previously I have tried to connect SAP Analytics Cloud to MSSQL. And I need to configure SAP Analytics Cloud Agent and SAP Cloud Connector on HEC.

Connect from DI for sql 2005? M SQL Server 2005/2008. For the connections, can see that Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) 2012 onwards are in DI version. Any suggestions on the approach ?
