We are having an issue with this file. CRDB_ADS.DLL says file missing but it shows here. My question is this file a part of the install for Crystal reports and if so why would we be told by Crystal reports to put our ADS.ini file in syswow

Likely a custom database with a unique version of CR.
crdb_ads.dll is not a standard database dll in CR.
And typically if CR indicates it can't be found usually indicates the Client is not installed or not the correct version.
Cr 2020 is 64 bit application so it needs a 64 bit client, all other versions are 32 bit.
