Consuming data from an Analytical Model

Hello experts - 

I’m looking for options to save data in Datasphere by running an analytical model at specific times during the day. However, it seems that Data Flow doesn’t support AM as a source. Are there any alternative approaches?

what is the need to "run" and "save" the data from an Analytic Model?

Hi Tobias,
We have a requirement to take snapshots of the open orders (weekly) and report on it. The analytical model can only provide current order position and the snapshots will provide historical data for trend reporting.

Could you not get this data from the view below the Analytic Model?

I could. However, I wanted to use the analytical model to leverage all the fields from the star schema. I have a bunch of master data views in the star schema at the analytical model level.

Could you connection your DSP AM via ODATA? Then you could use the data flow to persist the data
