Solved: connection problem between two systems.

Hi all:

There are some connection problem between two systems.

The two systems are respectively:

ECC of system no 00

BI of system no 50.

From ECC side , using sm59 to connect to BI it is successful.

but from BI side , using sm59 to connect ECC it failed .

the error is

Error Details Error when opening an RFC connection

Error Details ERROR: service 'sapgw00' unknown

is it the problem that saggw00 for ECC doesn't work well?

could you please tell me how to check my gateway for ECC?

how to create gateway?

and how to solve the problem ?

Hi sony

--> RFC destination in BI system: the gateway number is nothing but sapgw+system number of ECC.

for example if ECC system numbe is 00 then gateway number = sapgw00.(maintaint this in BI system).

-->This will definately solve your problem.
