Collect statement functionality using CDS or HANA AMDPs

Can anyone suggest on how to achieve functionality of collect statement using ABAP CDS views or CDS Table functions or HANA AMDPs, or any relevent standard functions available for the same

You can't use function modules in AMDPs.

Sorry...I mean Aggregate functions(Native HANA functions or CDS functions) not function modules

What do you mean with "COLLECT" statement, the ABAP COLLECT statement?

If yes, why not just using a "group by" and the required aggregate function.
