client copy using export

can we perform client export for a local client copy(e.g) in DEv system i need a client 500 .i can perform local client copy from 100 but can i do it through export as both clients are in same system.

Hi

Yes it is possible to perform a client export for a local client copy.

For performing a client copy in the same system its alwez better to go for the local client copy.

Why to complicate the things unnecssarily.

But if you are doing it for R&D purpose then it is fine. Otherwise for the Local Client Copy methods using SCCL.
