Business Object Data services (Data integrator)
A couple of questions..
Why is there no visual query designer in Data Integrator eg. why do I have to specify where conditions in text (even ms access you can make joins with a drag of a mouse). The product is heavily GUI based (eg Data Flows) but it of little use is you have to no visual query designer ..or am i missing something..?
Why is there no HAVING clause!! only group by even MS access can do this..
Why with data services do you have to use a DBA tool like TOAD to make schema changes and to view more than 1000 rows..?
again even MSaccess can view more than 1000 rows..
These are just a few of my woes - if this is cutting edge - i'd hate to see what SAP people were used to using before ..this is
hardly the nirvana it seem to be set out to be..or is it ?
i'm using Data services XI 3.0

Request clarification before answering.
Hi,
i would recommend posting this in the "Enterprise Information Management" Forum. DataServices belongs to the EIM productline of SAPBOBJ and there are the pros for the Tool.
