Dear experts,

Could you explain indetail about Business Planning Simulation for planning data. Using this concept how can i load planning data into transactional cube. what are methods like manual using excel sheet to load data into cube.

Hi Pradeep,

Transactional InfoCubes can be filled with data using two different methods: Using the transaction of BW-BPS to enter planning data and using BW staging, whereas planning data then cannot be loaded simultaneously.

You have the option to convert a transactional Info Cube Select Convert Transactional InfoCube using the context menu in your transactional InfoCube in the InfoProvider tree. By default, Transaction Cube Can Be Planned, Data Loading Not Permitted is selected. Switch this setting to Transactional Cube Can Be Loaded With Data; Planning Not Permitted if you want to fill the cube with data via BW Staging.

If you want you can write data into the transactional cube yourself e.g. with the module RSAPO_WRITE_PACKAGE_TRANS.

You can also switch between planning and load mode with the function module RSSM_SWITCH_ICUBE_TRANS_BATCH.
