Hi

While trying to create new datastore in BODS 4.1, i;m getting below error.

I'm trying to connect to Oracle database. DB version: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bits using "TNS" connection.

I'm able to connect to oracle database using SQL Plus.

If the error occurs in the log after execution:  This means that the ODBC connection has not been established correctly (or at all) on the SERVER where Data Services is installed.  Request that your DBA or someone with access to the server validate/create the ODBC connection. If you can view the data on your local machine, share with them the ODBC setup you have your machine.  Also make sure that the name of Data Store matches the name of the ODBC connection.

And If the error occurs when trying to view the data or external metadata: The ODBC connection has not been established correctly (or at all) on the LOCAL MACHINE where Data Services DESIGNER is installed. Validate/create the ODBC connection.  If you can execute the job, request the ODBC connection information from you DBA or anyone with access to the server (or of course access to the same datastore with a working ODBC connection).  Also, make sure that the name of Data Store matches the name of the ODBC connection.
