BOBJ/LDAP conditional sync

Can the LDAP be configured to pull only that ldap account with a certain field set to a value? For example, if the ldap has a field called "accountstatus" and that field contains one of the following "enabled" or "disabled", can it be configured to only sync the accounts with that field set to "enabled"?

Hirobertx,

Hopefully, you've checked the blog SAP BI 4.2 – Setting up LDAP Connector In 10 Easy Steps,

If not check step 3b Custom Attribute Mapping (custom settings), it seems you can customize it.

By default, the server attribute mappings and search attributes of each supported server type are already set.

Cheers,

Luis

I don't think I was clear. The LDAP connection is setup between BO and our LDAP. The sync is working. I am just wondering if when BO starts its sync that when it finds the attribute "accountstatus=deleted" that is will skip the user in the sync. Or is there another way?

Hi robertx,

Understood. Unless the user get 'cashed' on the LDAP side (for which a restart of LPAD service wouldn't hurt), it should work. You might also want to consider the status 'inactive' along with 'deleted'.

Cheers
