Has anyone used transaction BDLS on a BW quality system? Is it possible to identify objects in a data flow (think this can be done)

i.e. find PSA and ODS tables?

Is it also easy to change back to the original client. Are there problems that have been encountered. We are on 3.5 client. Thanks

I have been informed that the transaction can be used to change logical system names. However, I am looking for real hand experience and if problems faced for example changing back, transports etc
