BAS from VS Code, can not load Synonyms

Hello Experts,

When I open a project from VS Code with BAS, synonyms defined with .hdbsynonym files can not be used in calculation view modeling.

If I open the project from BAS with a browser all works perfectly.

From Visual Studio Code with proper extension I get this error.

I use the extension SAP Business Application Studio Toolkit and configure it as explained in this page.

Other problems that I found is that some projects (SAP HANA Native applications / HDB Modules) sometimes fail to open with this error.

Is the extension suppose to work with HANA Native Applications / HDB Modules or only with development projects (the one to develop Odata for example)?

or instead the extension is working for you and there are workaround?
