Arithmetic Overflow error converting numeric to data type numeric in BEx upon execution.

Hi Experts,

I am in a serious problem and I have to deliver this tomorrow please help me to resolve this issue. I have never encountered this error before.

I am getting this error when i am executing my query through Analyzer I tried in RSRT too but in RSRT it automatically goes to Debugger mode.

I have tried to create new fresh query also but the same issue i am facing. Also, I am not calculating anything from key figures.

Hi Ansh,

Can you please elaborate in more detail. On which object you have created your query(Info cube / DSO).

Arithmetic Overflow : This error come when number of digits increases. Can you please recheck your key figure info object length. The value coming is bigger than the specified length. Its a length issue,

so recheck again.

Hi Rohit,

My query in on Multiprovider and Standard DSO.

I have tried to remove the key figure from the colum and executed but it is still same. How to find out this I have lots of keyfigure in my report so do I need to check one by one?

Hi Ansh,

You will get the Key Figure info object name in ST22 T-Code

OR

Run the DTP manually, if there will be an error, there also you may find the key figure name.

I am getting this error in Date field. Also, tried to check in ST22 but as this error is not in KF so it doesnt give show anything.
