Archiving Material Error - Archive file cannot be open for write program

Hi,

I am trying to archive Materials for first time in system. After solving all authorization issues I am stuck on below error.

Archive file E:\usr\sap\BQ1\ARCHIVE\MM_MM_MATNR_20230807_191522 cannot be opened for write program.

How to solve it ? I understand above path is local folder and I need to setup SAP file path ? How to do that ?

Hello,

so how the file should be stored can be set in the transaction in the AOBJ. This then refers to the customizing from the transaction FILE (or SFILE in S/4HANA).

To read data from the archived file, the archiving object/ILM object can be entered in the SARA and then the read program can be executed. This can also be done in SARI, with some effort, and can provide a better result of the data structure.
