Altering variances in a tile using script

Hi all,

New to the analytical application designed in SAP analytics cloud. So please bare with me.

I have an application with some indicator tiles. Those indicator tiles have variances added to them. I have built some script that will on click remove the current measures in the tile and add new ones, but I cannot figure out how to do the same thing with the variance.

Is this even possible to do? if so can someone please help me?
