Hi all,
I know there are different threads in this forum concerning Error # 2032 and I've read them all. Yet I am still not sure what to do in the following situation:
- I use Xcelsius 2008 SP2;
- I use SAP BW 7.0 SP20;
- I've created a query that I want to use in Xcelsius using WebService QUERY_VIEW_DATA;
- I have used https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/businessobjects/su...;
- The WebService is recognized in Xcelsius and Iu2019ve made the fieldmappings;
- In Canvas Spreadsheet Table and Refresh Button are included;
- The preview creates the famous generic #2032 error.
Can someone please briefly tell me what causes this error and what I can do.
Thnx in advance,
Henk.

Hi Henk,
Once you preview and get the error message, click on 'OK".
Right click in the canvas and goto "Setting".
Select the 2nd folder and click the Advanced button. This will take you to the global security settings of Adobe.
Please make sure the option"Always allow" is checked and you have added the local drive and the swf file location.
You can also try running the fiddler debugging tool when you get the error message and see if it traces any error message.
Please let me know how things goes.
Thanks,
Amit

Amit,
Thanks for your response. I already set the security settings but Fiddler (I didn't know the tool at all) did the trick. It showed me an error message saying the DNS Lookup to my source system failed. It appeared I had to set up an VPN connection to make it work. So the technical guys have to do some additional configuration settings in the DNS.
Thanks for your help. I rewarded some points.
Henk.
