Advantage Server Serial/VAL Code Key Location

Hello,

I am IT support for a customer who has Advantage Database Service installed on a Windows Server 2016 Server. They are currently using Advantage Ver 10. The individual that previously managed the software on that server never kept any documentation and is no longer available. The customer also does not have the information regarding this issue. Is there a potential method to pull the serial/val key from a command line by accessing the local Advantage installation directory and reviewing a specific file? I do not know if this is possible and if this is for the S/N or the VAL code. What is the procedure to pull this information, and what file stores this information.

Double-click on "C:\Program Files\Advantage 10.10\Server\adsstamp.exe" (adjusting for the customer's installation directory).

Select License.

The serial number, validation code and replication code will be displayed.

If you want to change other registration information, click Next. Otherwise, click Cancel.
