At SAP Signavio, we are committed to evolving our solutions to provide you with the most powerful and user-friendly tools for continuous business process transformation. A key part of this commitment is enhancing our portfolio of Procurement Value Accelerators.

From Siloed Data to End-to-End Insight

To achieve this, we have been hard at work developing new, state-of-the-art content. Using our existing Ariba-related accelerators as a baseline, we have engineered new dashboards and, most significantly, a unified end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) pipeline.

This change allows you to analyze each stage of your source-to-pay process from sourcing to contracting to procurement within a single integrated pipeline, with all insights brought together in dedicated dashboards.

As we introduce this powerful new content, we have identified an overlap with some of our older Value Accelerators. To reduce complexity for you, we will replace obsolete content.

This step allows us to focus our resources on delivering the best possible experience and ensures you are working with the most relevant and powerful content available.

What’s Changing for Procurement Value Accelerators?

It follows a breakdown of the upcoming changes.

Packages Being Retired

The following packages will be retired, as their key performance indicators and analyses are now more effectively integrated into our new, more holistic persona-based dashboards.

  • Reduce Finance Costs for Procure to Pay in SAP Ariba
  • Reduce overall Supply Chain Planning Costs for Source Products and Services in SAP Ariba

Packages Being Updated

The following packages will be updated to leverage the new, unified data pipeline.

  • Start Mining for Procure to Pay in SAP Ariba
  • Start Mining for Source Product and Services in SAP Ariba

For both packages, the existing pipeline will be replaced with the newly built end-to-end S2P pipeline: Identify improvement potential for Source to Pay in SAP Ariba 

Important: The dashboards within these updated packages will be temporarily retained to ensure a smooth transition. However, they are scheduled to be replaced by fully renovated, persona-based dashboards in a future update. We are actively working on this next wave of content and will share more details as we get closer to the release.

Impact and Your Next Steps

We want to make this transition as smooth as possible. Here’s what you need to know:

  • What about my existing content? If you have already downloaded any of the affected packages, you can continue to use your local installations without any issues. The deprecation only affects the availability for new downloads from the Value Accelerator Library.
  • How do I handle customizations? We understand that many of you have customized your pipelines and dashboards. You can continue using your customized content in the old assets or migrate your customizations to the new assets. We have created a comprehensive guide to help you with this process.
  • Our Maintenance Commitment: Going forward, our primary maintenance and bug-fix efforts will be focused on the new and updated content available in the Value Accelerator Library. After the replacement  date, maintenance for the removed packages will be discontinued. If a bug is reported in content that is no longer on the library, we will provide a solution for the customer and apply the fix to the corresponding KPIs within the new, actively maintained Value Accelerators.

Timeline

To give you ample time to adapt, we have established a transition path.

  • Now – May 31, 2026: Six-month transition period. The older Value Accelerators will remain available for download.
  • June 1, 2026: The replaced Value Accelerators will be removed from the library, and engineering maintenance on them will be discontinued.
