I was watching and doing this video tutorial:
SAP HANA Academy - DWF: NDSO - Introduction to HANA native datastore objects
Which I strongly recommend if you are interested in SAP HANA Data Warehousing Foundation .
(Note that as announced by axel.meier in this blog SAP SQL Data Warehouse trial I was using a Trial version deployed from CAL.SAP.COM to do my own testing.)
When you create an aDSO in BW or BW/4 if you want to load data, you need to create a dataflow (a mechanism to load data); now with NDSO, you can load data straight from the Advanced tab from the manage option.
While getting familiar with the manage NDSO screen, I noticed that in the advanced tab, there is an option to load data: (marked with a 1) in the image below

The 3 options are documented in SAP's help. First time I see screenshots in SAP's help pages.
Here is a video demonstrating the load from a text file without a dataflow:
Any other cool features you have found about NDSOs?
Cheers,
Miguel
