The IBP security guide https://help.sap.com/doc/4398a486f93c4abfa70a1201512dcd73/2211/en-US/loiof6c22355af83f651e10000000a4... (page 129)
mentions that it is possible to restrict certain users from using the “replace” and “delete” functions such that they can only access the “insert/update” function.
"Write Access:
The following restrictions can be applied:
• Data Type: Here you can restrict the data types (master data, key figures and time periods) for which users can import data.
• Operation Type: Here you can restrict the operations (insert/update, replace, or delete data) that users can perform when importing data."
For the application "Data Integration Jobs", where exactly can these restrictions be configured, per user?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Vincent,
You can apply your restrictions on 'Data Integration Type' as in 'Data Type' and 'Operation Type'. This Restriction Type will be added if the Business Role contains Business Catalog 'SAP_IBP_BC_DATAINTEGRATION_PC' which is 'Administration'.

Riyaz
