Selecting Multiple interior row on Solid Models on SAP 2000

I am completing my dissertation which is analysing a solid beam on sap 2000.

I have broken the Solid beam up into many elements which act as inclusions within the beam.

I require to select an entire interior row (Left to right as shown in image above) within the beam in order to assign it different properties which is part of my analysis. But I do not know how to select the different neighbouring sections in this way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
