Variable Pay - Basis Calculation

Hi

I have a question regarding basis calculation. We want to use the latest salaries and Bonus Target % for basis calculation so want to use "Fixed effective date in EC(Point in time calculation)" option. But there is also a requirement to make custom calculations to basis.

Is there a way to use custom formula option with effective date such that only latest salaries and bonus Target % is used?

I need to use base salary for basis, the requirement does not allow using annual salary. There are different frequencies for base salaries but we need to use only 12 as frequency. So the custom formula is basis = base salary * 12 * Bonus Target %

Hi @AK21 

I would suggest using an MDF object to get the salary and target you want to use, then map these fields to the History of the employee, and then you can use these in a custom formula. You will need to build the logic to get the right salary/target to be stored in the MDF either in business rules or in an Integration in the Integration Center.
