Successfactors Integration Center available when Odata is down?

We are trying to build a fall back scenario in case Odata integration fails.

Therefore we would like to know if we would still be able to use the Integration Center in case the Odata fails?

Well I reckon you can use the tool itself, but in essence it also calls the Odata API (hence it would be rather empty then or it would toss you an error).

SFAPI (although not recommended), Ad hoc reports, canvas reports or story reports would make more sense as back-up.
