General Display Name/Name Format in Manage Calibration Sessions > New Calbration Session >People Tab

Hi Community,

the expert chat could not help me so I am asking you for help.🙂

I have some questions about Calibration and the General Display Name/Name Format which affects the User Search in Manage Calibration Sessions > New Calbration Session.

• At the moment, we do not have the option “Enable adoption of General Display Name” enabled in Company and Logo Settings.
• But we have a global Name Format setup in Configure People Profile (A-FN+MN+LN).
• And we are using different Name Formats for some companies.
• If we set up a new Calibration Session, there is no option in the People Tab to sort users with their First Name or Last Name because we only have one column for all names. It only displays “Name”.

Questions:

• Why is there only one column for “NAME” in Manage Calibration Sessions > New Calbration Session> People Tab, even though we use the Name Format (A-FN+MN+LN)?
• If we would enable the option “Enable adoption of General Display Name” in Company and Logo Settings, would this overwrite the company specific setup we did in Manage Data?
• If we would enable the option “Enable adoption of General Display Name” in Company and Logo Settings, would the system then populate different columns for First name and Last Name in the People Tab (like in the Screenshot below from a KBA)?
