We need to analyze what changes are done using the different event reasons, i.e. we need to see which changes that have been done. The company is a global company, with almost 100 000 employees.
What would be the best way/report to get this data?

Isn't that just as easy as running a report on the different event reasons in job info and compensation information then (assuming event derivation is correctly setup and used) or are you aiming at something different?
There's always the change audit log that shows on field level what has changed (but doesn't classify it with an event reason), there's also the audit tables via report center (but those get a bit too fuzzy in my opinion). There are more options that could be thought off, but I guess it depends on the deeper use case.
