Adding External VLS Instructor

Hi team,

Have you encountered the below error when adding an external VLS instructor in LMS?

The user account could not be created on MSTeams VLS Server. Please try again later or note the error and contact your VLS administrator. VLS Error: org.springframework.web.client.RestClientException: Not Found : Resource 'aaaaa@aaaa.com' does not exist or one of its queried reference-property objects are not present.

We are facing the same issue. The MS configuration is correctly set up but when creating a new instructor we get that same error. We also tried with the company email as suggested by Brian, but same error.

Did you find a solution? Any ideas

The VLS integrations are tied to your corporate account that uses a super admin login to setup and confirm the instructors begin entered into the LMS. If the external user is not listed in your corporate teams account, I do not see how this is going to work.when using "Use Existing Account".

You might be able to use "Create New Account" if your master teams account has that permission and the email domain does not need to match your company domain. Not sure how teams works for user setup if you tried to add a user with john@company123.com if the team domain is 123company.com
