SAP Role creation using script

Hi,

we are creating n number of roles with having around 350+ objects in each individual role. It will quite take a long time if we create it manually. Could any one please help by letting us know if the role creation is possible by using any alternative method like secatt or some ABAP program . If yes then how (as a BASIS guy, my knowledge is limited to SAP Security part).

Hi Ankit

If you use role menu then SU24 data should import your object proposals instead of manually adding objects to your roles. It might take time but in the long run it makes your maintenance easier and reduces segregation of duties issues and high risk access.

If still set on manual objects you could attempt to create templates (via su24) and then select them when you create a role for the first time to import all of you objects.
