Hi,
We're using (warehouse management) replenishment control by the following steps:
1) use tcode LP21 to create replenishment TRs based on the settings and material master;
2) use tcode LB10 to create TO, but there're some problems:
for example,
There's 20 pcs stock for material 100-100 in fix bin 01-01-02, it's required to replenish 100 pcs that calculated by tcode LP21, if I create TO via tcode LB10 and select <create TO via background> , the system will create TO as follows:
item 10: source bin 01-01-02: 20 pcs, dest bin 01-01-02 ????
item 20: source bin <other bin> 80 pcs, dest bin 01-01-02,
so what's the problem? Kindly please advise.
Regards

Hi,
According to your mention, I thought the reason is that the source and destination bins use the same storage type during replenishment.
Check the storage type indicators for putaway and stock removal at the WM 1 views in the material master data, whether the replenishment control use the same storage type for source bin and destination bin.
Good luck

Hi,
Please check the storage type of the fixed bin (01-01-02) and please also check the storage type sequence in SPRO > LE > WM > Strategies > Define Storage Type search - and other search criteria if you use (storage section search, storage bin search, etc).
Isn't it possible that your search sequence starts with the same storage type where the fixed bin 01-01-02 is and based on the stock situation and stock removal strategy of the storage type SAP wants to remove the stock from your bin?
I tested the same:
storage type: 008
fixed bin: 01-01-01
maximum stock level: 10 pcs
minimum stock level: 5 pcs
available stock of material 1842: 2 pcs
storage type search sequence: 008, 002, etc
result: when processing the TR from LB10 SAP offers the first TO item as source: 008 01-01-01, destination: 008 01-01-01

Hi ,
Thanks a lot for your advice.
Yes I defined same storage type search sequence like what you mentioned but I have to. I defined the search sequence like:
storage type search sequence (putaway): F01, A01,D01,K01
storage type search sequence (picking): F01, A01,D01,K01
-
F01: (fix bin) storage type
A01,D01,K01: other high rack types
My requirement is, the 1st priority of putaway and picking storage type must be the storage type of fix bin, when I perform replenishment control program, it should suggest to take goods from other storage types A01,D01,K01 to F01. If so, how to set?
Kindly please advise again.
Regards
Hi tt,
As I understand:
- you adhere to the current storage type search sequence: "F01, A01,D01,K01"
- but the same time you would like to avoid to get e TO where both the source and destination bin is the fixed bin from storage type F01
If you don't want to change the search sequence you can use a movement type reference for the replenishment WM-mvt and create a new record (search sequence) for it
1.
SPRO > LE > WM > Strategies > Define Storage Type Search - here you can choose: "Movement type references" > "Define"
Write your mvt reference for the desired WH & WM-mvt cmbination > Save
2.
SPRO > LE > WM > Strategies > Define Storage Type Search > push "Determine search sequence button" > Define a new stock removal storage type sequence with the movement type reference, where you do not mention storage type F01. (in this case you will have at least two records for stock removals, the original mentioned by you, and the new one that is relevant for replenishment).
Is this what you want?
