Time Eavaluation Error

Hi,

I am moving negative time mananegent to positive time managment from 01.01.2015. But before that did not run the time evaluation from April where they had maintained Time status as 1 and maintained IT50 from the date of joining.

Now i have changed earliest recalculation date as 01.01.2015 but getting below error. And it's different for different employee's. I am sharing the all screenshot deatils. Not able to find out the exact issue.

I didn't get your issue.

You have mentioned that these employees were in negative time management. Was time evaluation running for these employees in negative time management?

Hi ,

All employee's TMSTA=1 from the 01.04.2014 and IT0050 also they had maintained. But they have not run the time evaluation during last 9months. Now we are going to run positive time managment from 01.01.2015 and changed configuration level for quota type generation.

Now getting mentioned error.

Have you checked the B2 cluster? Is it empty right now?

but why its saying configuration issue in substitution type 20 02.
they had already run the payroll from last 9months then can we delete the B2 cluster.

Hi Sankarsan,

B2 cluster gets generated when time evaluation has run. You are saying that the time evaluation hasn't run. Hence, asked you to check if the B2 cluster exists or not.

Please do the following:

1. Go to TCode PT_CLSTB2 and check the B2 cluster of the first employee. See if there is any data there or not. If there are records, they will let you know that time evaluation did run for those periods.
2. If records are there, then please check the time management status which will help you know in what status did the time evaluation run happened.
3. Ensure that the time management status till 31.12.2014 is 0 (if no time evaluation run is needed till that date) or is 9 (if negative time evaluation run is needed). From 01.01.2015, ensure that the time management status is 1.

Hence, please check and let me know whether B2 cluster got generated or not. And accordingly, we need to decide on the approach.

Regarding the other error, it seems to be a configuration issue to me.

Please refer the blog below where I have explained the process which I used to transfer employee from negative time evaluation to positive time evaluation.

I have already gone through your document and its very helpful. Bit thing is they were maintained time management status 1 from the go live in production system along with IT50.

system is running perfectly in was or dev system.

let me check the B2 cluster and will update accordingly.

Hi,

Kindly find the attached screenshoot of employee for whom i am running time evaluation from Jan2015. Now this employee in the IT7 having a two records one is 01.01.2015 to 31.12.999 as TMSTA=1 and another record is 01.04.2014 to 31.12.9999 as TMSTA=1 and same in IT50. Time events data are almost present for all the month. Don't have the authorization for B2 cluster but i go to PT_BAL00 or PT_ERL00 then i can get the information during 01.04.2014 to 31.12.2014 that means cluster B2 has been created.

Now i am getting below error

And also it's giving different error for other employee's like which i told you eralier or event few employee's it's showing Nov/2014 initialization then next month's onward is not calling in time evaluation like below.

Please guide me to close.

Hi Sankarsan,

Please check with your client if any background time evaluation job has been scheduled or not. It seems that time evaluation may have been running in the background and hence, the system is behaving like this.

If the time management status from 01.04.2014 till 31.12.2014 is 1, the system will treat it as positive time evaluation.

If positive time evaluation is not needed for that period, then you need to change the time management status to 0.

The key thing is to get clarity from client on why the time management status was kept as 1 if positive time management didn't go live then and how did the time evaluation run.

If the time evaluation run didn't result in creation of any time wage types, I would recommend the below approach:

1. Change time management status from 01.04.2014 till 31.12.2014 to 0 and from 01.01.2015 till 31.12.9999 to 1.
2. Delete B2 cluster and then run time evaluation from 01.01.2015 onwards.

You can copy a personnel number to quality and test this approach.

This was mistake by the consultant. I have tried the 1st option but not used B2 cluster delete.

can system give me permission to delete from production.

Any tcode for deletion cluster B2

Hi Sankarsan,

Please try this out first in quality system with 1 employee. You can create this scenario in quality.

You need to delete B1 and B2 clusters. The programs are RPUP1D10 and RPUP2D10 respectively.

You need to enter the personnel no. as 8 digits and the password will be your user id.

Hence, 62 needs to be entered as 00000062.

The payroll may do a retro run since Apr'14 once you do this.

I will try to create a scenario in QAS.    

which program I have to run 1st. I think B2 is required to delete 1st and then B1.

after delete this should I set the earliest retro accounting for them.

By deletion could it be possible to run from 01.01.2015. Just asking , never encounter with this. Another thing in QAS it's working fine since there only two months cluster is present but I maintain earliest retro accounting date as 01.01.2015  then system is working correctly.

Hi Sankarsan,

You can follow any sequence to delete B1 and B2 clusters. It really doesn't matter which one you delete first.

Once you have deleted your B1 and B2 clusters, the system will understand that the time evaluation hasn't run for this employee at all.

After this change, please ensure that the time management status is 0 till 31.12.2014 and from 01.01.2015, it is maintained at 1.

Clear your IT0003 so that your next date for time evaluation is set at 01.01.2015.

You may not need to maintain earliest retro for time because time evaluation won't run prior to 01.01.2015 since time management status will be 0.
