Dear Experts,
I am using a standard Number Range Object. It does not allow to assign Alpha numeric number range (Even externally). Is it possible to change the number range object so that I can assign a alphanumeric number range.
Kindly help.

Tom

Hello Afshad & Chakrapani
I have tried to assign external number range as A00001 to A00099 with the enternal indicator checked. But still I get the message "Number Range object requires numerical Interval Limits".
So, i assume there should be some configuration that should be set in the number range object that controls this. Where do we define if Alphanumeric number range is allowed for a number range object?
Any help will be appreciated
Regards
Tom
For alpha numeric number range your number range should read like this A100000-A199999 with external check on, if you want to assign your own numbers and like this A100000-A199999 with no check for system to assign the number range like this A100000, A100001 and so on. For number range with external check on you can assign any alpha numeric numbers with above range.
