split valuation

Hi

Please solve one doubt, can we have split valuation, means can we change valuation category through MM02 and extend the valuation type of the material if the stock is there in plant.

In other words is it neccessary to have zero stock to activate split valuation for the material.

Hi

If you want to activate split valuation for a material then there should not be any stock for the material. Transfer the stock to any dummy material and enter the valuation category then types for the material.
