Returnable packaging material

Hi,

How returnable packaging material act in complete sales process(OR->LF->F2)

ie.material:-Box(with item category group LEIH)

Retunable Packaging is the packing material, lets say big container, which belongs to the company.

Two ways we can send Retunable Packaging material to customer.

1.In sale order as a line item.

2.In delivery through packaging.

During PGI Retunable Packaging material sits in customer stock with movement type 621.

During PGR Retunable Packaging material is return back with 622 movement type.

when i pack finished material in Delivery, returnable packaging material is not appearing below finished material as 2nd line item.

i dont want to enter it separately. when im packing FG it should come automatically

pls help.

Hi,

If you want to system selects the returnable packaging material automatically, you should maintain the following master data in the system:

• 1. With t-code POP1 to create packing instruction;

• 2. With t-code POF1 to create packing determination.

After that system can do it automatically.

Hi,

In delivery after you do packing, to get the line item of the packing material automatically, you need to maintain in the packing material types that you have created (in VHAR), the Plant determination field as B, it should propose the line item automatically.
