Reference operation set

Dear all,

for one materail i am trying to creat PRD order

order type XXXX is mainatined with refernce operation set slection in OPL8

and refernce opration set is already created in CA11

validity is ok

system is throwing following Mssg

while creating PRD order

No default value mainatined for op.generation for order type XXXX (materail YYYYYY)

Kumar,

System is unable to find a valid Referance Operation set, for Production order. Various reasons can be

1. Order quantity not within the Lot Size Validitiy of the Referance Operation set.

2. Referance Operation set "Status" and "usage" problem, not valid or not relevant to production.

3. Referance Operation set must have got created with valid from today, but the order may be exploding the PP-Master data for a past date based on the basic start and finish date of the order.

Please check these parameters...there is no need to maintain OPJG. OPJG should be maintained if you want to allow order creation with default a single operation, in the event of system not able to find a valid routing.

Dear Kumar,

The default operation for order type can be maintained in T Code OPJG.

In OPL8,check the task list type (it must be S)and also the routing selection ID,this should allow for the reference operation set

with the highest priority,which can be configured in T Code OPEB.

Dear,

Please check the valdity dates/qty and status of the referance operation set.

You need to select the referance opeartion set during the order creation

Default operation for the plant and order type combination in T Code OPJG.

2) selction id - 05

3) Sequence exchange - 0

4) Task List Type - s

5) AltTaskListApplication - blank

6) Routing Selection - 02

7) alternative sequences - checked

😎 Check op. deatils - checked

9) Roting text - checked

Apart from this what should i do

Selection ID 01 Routing Selection 2

Task List Type S Reference Operation Set.

Go to OPJF and check the slection iD here you need to set task list type S in selection priority.

Kumar,

If the criteria mentioned by me is ok. Then check in transaction OPEB for Selection ID "05", which you have assigned in OPL8, whether tasklist Type "S" with correct usage and Status is set.

Reference operation set is valid from is 27.08.09 & valid to 31.12.2009

no deletion flag set

Apart from this what should i do

Kumar,

PP-master data would be exploded based on Basic start date of the Order, assuming I have a backlog Planned order or Manually creating an order with Start date as 01.07.2009. In this case system would explode the PP-master data with date as 01.07.2009 and look for valid BOM/Routing/Production versions as on that date. If in your case you have created the Referance routing with valid from today, system would not be able to find this routing.

Kumar,

Nothing from Material master side for this Issue.

Have you checked in transaction OPEB for Selection ID "05", which you have assigned in OPL8, whether tasklist Type "S" with correct usage and Status is set.

What is your order start date?

1) selection id - 05

2) SP - 1

3) task list type - S

4) plan usage - 1

5) description - production

Order start date, right now i am trying to creat it, but it's not allowing me

Plz let me know what else is required

As the issue is in Production server
