Hi Friends,
We have a requirement were if the material is under quality inspection then process order should not get released.
Currently it is releasing the order even if the material is in quality inspection.

Hi sir,
Thanks for your valuable advice. But to your second option, if i uncheck quality stock from availability check, then it may impact MRP run, as in mrp we want quality stock to be considered. How only for process order and mrp different requirement can be set.

Sun

have you done extensive search on status profile ?
I can conceptualize this requirement in 2 ways
1) With status Profile: When my Stock is lying in Quality Inspection, I will not allow the process order release. In technical terms, when Usage decision is not conducted(321), order should not be released.
Usage decision not done---Release rejected
Usage decision done----Release accepted.

2) Other solution which could be is to use batch determination for process order at release level. I hope you are using batch management as well.
Allow your process order to pick unrestricted type batches only.( Batch determination during process order release level).
Also before batch determination, ATP is triggered in background, disallow the ATP element highlighted in yellow not to be picked during batch determination.
In OVZ9, for your order type checking group and checking rule, deselect the below indicator. Exclude the QI stock during ATP check in process order release stage.
You need to set up automatic batch determination process at release level with some master data set up as well
