posting date problem

Hi

our syatem has accepted posting date even future date also ..how can i avoid this future date accptance...

ex: current date : 04.06.2010(system has open posting period june)

today i want to post the document( 04.06.2020)

in posting date field enter 04.06.2010..its ok ..

some time user has done mistake ... they are enterd posting date future date also ..that time system has allow to posting..menats insted of date 04,06,2010 ...system accept 10.06.2010 also ...

how can i made steeing do avovide future date posting pls...could any one help in this issue

Hi

You can try for setting up a validation where you can specify the condition Posting date should not be greater than System date.

Hi Sesidhar,

Pl confirm that do you keep FI periods open for the whole year in OB52?

If yes, you can control the same by keep opening the relevant periods only in OB52 rather than having the system open for the whole future periods for the year.

You can even lock the CO periods for Actual and Plan data using T-Code # OKP1.

Let me know your thoughts on this.

Hi

You can define FI validations using Tcode GGB0 and activate the same in Tcode OB28.

If you are not very sure of using the field names, please take the help of an ABAPer and complete it.

there is a settings for your posting date is default system date you cannot post any future date in enter global parameters we have check box posting date you will select the system posting date is default your enduser system date ok try it T-Code oby6

in OBY6 ..already default date posing data has tick mark is threr..

when ever post the documnt system shows .... posting date filed has shoe as current date(ex.04.06.2010)

..if i change that date in posting date field..in future..ex ..if enter 25.06.2010... system has allow to post the document

this is tryed .in MB1C transaction.... pls.. any solution there to do not future date in osting date
